Bologna, Italy – April 2nd, 2015 – Datalogic, a global leader in Automatic Data Capture and Industrial Automation markets, and world-class producer of bar code readers, mobile computers, sensors, vision systems and laser marking equipment, announces the release of XRF410N - the latest addition to its identification portfolio and the only out-of-the-box solution in the market designed to revolutionize medium-range material handling and logistics sortation applications.
The XRF410 is named for its eXtended Reading Field, and is a fully-functional, revolutionary barcode reading solution, offering the advantages of 2D imaging technology with unrivaled performance. XRF410 utilizes the features of two Matrix 410N imagers to create a solution that is much more powerful than the sum of its parts. XRF410N is powered by the new industry-leading DL.CODE software that significantly simplifies installation and setup, making it easily adaptable to meet customer requirements.
XRF410N is purpose-built for a broad variety of material handling applications with transportation speeds up to 2.2 m/s (433 fpm) for medium-sized objects, with typical scanning depths of 400 mm (15.7 in.). XRF410N is the optimal solution for top reading of flyers, letters, and small parcels in the postal industry, as well as scanning inside totes, where the demands to simultaneously read several items with different dimensions in a single tote are high.
“As a leader in automatic identification, Datalogic is pleased to offer our customers a dynamic solution that combines fast, easy installation with un-matched performance. XRF410N is the only out-of-the-box solution available on the market designed to solve e-commerce order fulfillment, medium-sized parcel sortation, and reusable-totes reading applications,” said Alberto Bertomeu, General Manager and Vice President, Datalogic Industrial Automation.
