9 weeks, 27 destinations, 900 companies, 1,500 attendees. These are the main figures for the Datalogic mobile computer roadshow which took place from May to July 2006 in Europe.
Bologna, 29th September 2006 - The Datalogic Mobile computer roadshow was the biggest mobile computer event in Datalogic's history covering an area of 20 countries with 27 destinations in just nine weeks, and involved all of the Datalogic subsidiaries in Europe, as well as Datalogic International for the locations further a field.
This event for distributors, solution providers, resellers and also end users, focused on advanced technology and innovations, applications and services in the mobile computer market. During the intensive one-day seminar Datalogic presented three new mobile computer products: Kyman-Net™, Datalogic Skorpio™, New Datalogic J Series™ (Version 5) and two new product previews: Memor™ and Skorpio-Gun™ in addition to the latest software developments for this range of products, new accessories that complete the spectrum of target applications, and the most innovative technologies in the field of data capture like RFID and voice recognition.
Attendance to the show was overwhelming with 1,500 people present from 900 different companies. Plenty of positive feedback came from the participants, many of whom had previously limited experience with Datalogic's products, and comments ranged from the usefulness of the event to the high quality of the presentations.
The event was without doubt a great success and will enable Datalogic to increase its brand awareness in the field of mobile computers, and likewise will gather new business opportunities.
