Swimathon President and Olympic Gold Medallist Duncan Goodhew said: “With the start of the New Year, what better way to kick-start a healthy new fitness regime than hitting the pool and training up for a Swimathon challenge. Every stroke counts as our dedicated Swimathon 2013 swimmers raise funds for Marie Cure Cancer Care by swimming one of our individual or team challenges. “I wish Datalogic every success for their 5k challenge during this year’s Swimathon.” Marie Curie Cancer Care gives people with all terminal illnesses the choice to die at home. Funds raised by taking on Swimathon 2013 will help Marie Curie nurses provide them and their families with free hands-on care and emotional support, in their own homes, right until the end.
