Controls and displays images and data from multiple smart cameras or vision processors, runs on all smart camera and vision processor, provides real time camera parameter changes
Vision Development Manager (VPM) and Control Panel Manager (CPM) for inspection program and user interface development. Graphical icon-based drag and drop user interface – no programming required, easy to understand, tree-view logic flow
Provides a software development kit to integrate machine vision monitoring capabilities into HMI applications
IMPACT Software Suite, with over 120 inspection tools and 50 user interface controls, allows users to create unique inspection programs and develop user interfaces quickly and easily. All this can be done without the loss of flexibility, like traditional configurable systems, or the need for vast amounts of development time. IMPACT Software Suite also provides a Software Development Kit (SDK) that guarantees full integration of machine vision monitoring capabilities into HMI software applications.Vision Program Manager (VPM) provides hundreds of image processing and analysis functions. Use VPM to enhance images, locate features, measure objects, check for presence or absence, and read text and bar codes.Control Panel Manager (CPM) simplifies development of operator interfaces with the ability to make on-the-fly adjustments to critical machine controls. CPM creates operator interface panels to view and adjust critical machine controls.
IMPACT Software Development Kit (SDK) consists of a software library for HMI development. It allows developers to deploy software applications for interacting with Datalogic vision devices.

Identify imperfections in rubber seals for use in market leading coffee makers. The inspection eliminated inner and outer overflows, as well as incomplete seals.
This application provides a low cost solution to inspect an electronic connector with high precision.
Four Impact T20 cameras are used to inspect an empty caulk container before product is loaded into the tubes. The vision systems are required to look for four major defects; 1. The position of the nozzle; 2. The presence of the foil inside the tube; 3. The shape of the open end of the tube; and 4. The seal between the metal end of the tube and the cardboard side of the tube.
A typical connector inspection application would generally require the vision system to inspect the following: pin or contact presence/absence; pin length, width and pitch; contact gap; and implied co-planarity by measuring the distance from a pin or contact to a fixed datum.
Sintered metal parts were inspected for defects and dowel insertion depth as well as determine pick-and-place for part orientation.
Impact Lite Software works with P-Series cameras. Impact Software works with A and T Series smart cameras along with the MX Vision Processors. Choose 32-bit or 64-bit for your PC's Operating System.
Utilities for Machine Vision cameras and processors. The Optics Calculator provides many different functions, from lens selection to pixel blur. Use the HASP update utility to add licenses on M-Series and MX vision processors. The GSDML file describes the PROFINET device model features. EDS is for use with Impact and a PLC. RSLogix AOI (Add On Instruction) is for use Impact and Rockwell RSLogix 5000 PLC.
