Roberto Tunioli has passed the first round of voting to be included in the short list of nominees for the iD People Awards 2007, the prestigious recognition of the important contribution made by the thought leaders, innovators and pioneering adopters that drive the development of auto ID technology.
Datalogic CEO Roberto Tunioli is one of the five nominees for the ID Limelight Award, given to the person who has attracted the most media attention for his revolutionary ideas on the possible applications in the Automatic Identification field. His name and the final list of nominees are on the ID People Awards website (www.idworldonline.com/index.php?id=idpa07vote).
Voting will take place via the website and will end on November 8, 2007.
The iD People Awards are assigned to outstanding members of the ID Revolution Community who have distinguished themselves during these last 12 months for commitment, leadership, creativity and innovation. Given once a year by iD People, one of the three magazines produced by ID Community publications, this year the iD People Awards will present five awards to outstanding members of the Automatic Identification community at the ID World International Congress held in Milan, Italy, from November 26th to 28th.
The Awards ceremony for the winners will take place on November 26 and will be the highlight of the 3-day event.
At the ID World International Congress, Roberto Tunioli will be included in an exclusive and prestigious panel of CEOs representing the leading automatic identification companies worldwide. On the morning of November 27th, these leaders will be the protagonists of “The Future of Identification” convention. A presentation entitled “The Future of Data Collection: evolution or revolution?” will be given by Roberto Tunioli.
