Argentinean entrepreneurs attend Datalogic's school of innovation. Students of the managerial training course, organized by the Buenos Aires branch of the Alma Mater Studiorum Foundation of the University of Bologna, visited Datasensor's factory in Monte San Pietro.

Bologna, Italy, February 18, 2009  - Roughly thirty Argentinean entrepreneurs attending the "Innovation of business processes: opportunities and challenges for Small and Medium Enterprises" course, organized by the Buenos Aires branch of the Alma Mater Studiorum Foundation of the University of Bologna, visited Datasensor's factory in Monte San Pietro (Bo) on the 18th February.

Whilst visiting the leading company in the development, production and commercialisation of photoelectric sensors and devices for detection, safety, measuring and inspection - acquired by Datalogic's Automation, division specialized in industrial automation, in October 2008 - the Argentinean students-entrepreneurs also attended the presentation of the innovative Operations management systems thanks to which, over the years, Datasensor has won some prestigious national and international awards and recognitions. The company did indeed win the 2005 and 2006 editions of the "International Best Factory Award", assigned to the company by Milan's Bocconi University, for having developed cutting edge organisational and technological solutions focused on the improvement of production processes. These important results confirm Datasensor's success, to which the prestigious American advisory Group ARC dedicated a "case history" in 2006.

This high-skill managerial training initiative is part of the "Datasensor University" program in which Datasensor and the Alma Mater Studiorum Foundation of the University of Bologna, Research Centres and high-skill training schools have been collaborating for roughly thirty years for post University courses and Masters in Business Administration (MBA). "The idea of the "Datasensor University" program", commenced in 2005 - Mauro Felice, Operations Manager of Datasensor, explained - to promote the concept of "Learning Organisation" within the company, or rather an organisation based mainly on valorising skills and developing awareness". "The group of activities carried out - he continued - is split-up into three areas: the "campus", that brings students into the company for training courses and theses on innovative topics; the "knowledge network" involving the reciprocal collaboration between Datasensor, University and Research Centres; "courses" or rather the in-house training program of Datasensor, split-up into management training, technical training and operation training and tutoring".
