Bologna, 19 June 2009 - Datalogic Mobile is proud to announce the Online RMA (Return Materials Authorization), a new service program tool, where everybody can save time, reduce errors, control process as well as protect assets with the possibility to track and check repair status.
The Online RMA tool is part of EASEOFCARE, the Datalogic Mobile Service Program designed to take care of everything and ensures the most cost effective way to protect a customer's investment in any Datalogic Mobile device. Thanks to this new online tool, RMAs (Return Material Authorisation forms) are created online automatically.
Easy and fast, the Online RMA process gives the end user the possibility to send defective devices back for repair to Datalogic Mobile directly, in a very simple way, thanks to a user-friendly interface which assists the on line RMA creation. Furthermore, the local language support is enabled based on end user selected area and it is currently available in English, French, Italian, Spanish and German. However, the Customer Service is also prepared to support end users in becoming familiar with this tool.
The Online RMA assures end users important benefits, like the direct access to DLM repair depot using factory authorized parts and procedures as well as the possibility to track the repair status, receiving accurate information in real time. Moreover, the end user doesn't need to create separate shipping documents, because they are automatically generated at the end of the process.
Available to all EMEA region Datalogic Mobile device users, the Online RMA tool simply requires a one-time registration to set up an account. Use of the Online RMA system is mandated for EMEA and it is required for all repairs sent to the Datalogic Mobile Service Center.
