The Gryphon GD4500 imager takes advantage of Datalogic’s Motionix™ motion-sensing technology which detects the natural actions of the operator to automatically switch the scanner into the desired scanning mode. This technology works with or without the use of a stand, offering both hand held and presentation reading options.
Datalogic’s reading technology with highly visible warm-white illumination is easier on the human eyes and reads colored labels much better. The highly visible 4-Dot aimer defines a precise reading zone and reduces accidental reads, while the aimer’s center cross provides a locator for targeted scanning in a multiple bar code environment.

The powerful and versatile all-in-one software tool that offers easy and fast reader set-up. Datalogic Aladdin provides customers the opportunity to manage the configuration of handheld products, and allows flexible advanced formatting through an intuitive user interface. The tool also makes it easy for customers to upgrade the handhelds firmware, to attain the benefits of new reader features. Used in combination with the Datalogic USB-COM drivers, supports the following Microsoft ® operating systems: Windows 10, 8.1, 8, 7, XP and Vista, both 32 and 64-bit versions. To make sure you have latest updated configuration files please select "check for updated configuration library on web" in "Tools" menu. On windows 10, 8.1 and 8, the tool shall be launched in administrator mode to allow the automatic configuration update.

Automatically recognizes and associates with Datalogic Scanning USB-COM equipped products. Enables data coming from the USB port to be seen by the host as if it is coming from a standard COM port (using a host defined virtual COM port). Any existing software application supporting serial communications can utilize USB scanner connectivity simply by redirecting the data input to the defined virtual COM port. Improved installation with no need for Admin privileges. "USB composite" scanner interface is not supported on Windows XP Operating system.
