The Magellan 1100i OEM module easily integrates into kiosks, price verifiers or vending machines requiring 1D or 2D code reading. The imaging scan volume is optimized for these OEM applications by providing a large reading area at the window of the module where items are typically presented. Red LEDs also illuminate when an item is presented to the imager and indicate when the item is within the reading area.
Going beyond laser scanner performance, the Magellan 1100i imaging module features Datalogic’s latest digital imaging technology for fast reading performance on 1D and 2D bar codes and supports advanced features like image capture. Illumix™ intelligent illumination technology additionally optimizes light levels for the automatic reading of bar codes from mobile phones and for capturing images in a variety of ambient light environments. Illumix technology also provides incredible motion tolerance making it ideal for self-service applications involving untrained users.
Like all Magellan bar code scanners, the Magellan 1100i OEM imaging module includes a comprehensive multi-interface set and a powerful label editing feature that allows easy integration into new or existing host systems. Magellan Value Added Features include Diagnostics Reporting and Host Download with optional Productivity Index Reporting™. Integrators can use this additional data from the imaging module to improve maintenance and efficiency. In addition, each module supports Remote Management Systems to streamline operations and ongoing support across an entire enterprise.

For use on all Windows 32 and 64 bit systems. Certified for Windows including XP, Win7, Win8, and Win10 (RS1 thru RS3); auto detects OS version and installs the appropriate driver. Automatically recognizes and associates with Datalogic Scanning USB-COM equipped products. Enables data coming from the USB port to be seen by the host as if it is coming from a standard COM port (using a host defined virtual COM port). Any existing software application supporting serial communications can utilize USB scanner connectivity simply by redirecting the data input to the defined virtual COM port. Improved installation with no need for Admin privileges. "USB composite" scanner interface is not supported on Windows XP Operating system.
