Developer Tools, hereinafter referred to as Datacapture Suite, is a comprehensive software suite designed to streamline the development, deployment, and configuration of HHS and FRS products. Much like leading industry enabler platforms, it provides a unified set of tools and utilities that simplify integration and accelerate time-to-value.
As a powerful software enabler, DataCapture Suite offers developers and system integrators everything they need to efficiently build, customize, and manage data-capture solutions. Its Develop capabilities include the SDK, which enables seamless scanner integration into any application, and OPOS/JavaPOS, which allows developers to build applications using software libraries for standard POS interfaces.
On the Configure side, DataCapture Suite includes Aladdin, a tool that allows users to easily create and manage scanner configurations, as well as QuickPairing, a mobile app designed to simplify pairing with Bluetooth scanners.
By reducing installation complexity and simplifying ongoing system management, DataCapture Suite significantly lowers the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) associated with deploying and maintaining HHS and FRS products—ensuring scalable, reliable, and future-proof performance across applications.
