The Magellan™ 9400i scanner/scale: a new class of high performance bar code scanners. With digital imagers in all planes, the 9400i scanners read both 1D and 2D bar codes seamlessly without requiring item orientation by the cashier.
With a more traditional bonnet height and large horizontal and vertical windows, the Magellan 9400i allows optimum positioning for POS or self-checkout touchscreens, payment terminals and printers while maintaining ergonomic comfort for both seated and standing cashiers.
The optional Magellan Customer Service Scanner (CSS) enables retailers to easily engage their customers in mobile commerce programs, allowing them to scan bar codes from their mobile phone screen or paper coupons while the cashier continues to scan regular items in parallel, resulting in a significant reduction in total transaction time.
Innovative features and options such as ScaleSentry™ shrink monitoring/prevention technology, AllWeighs™ platters and the support of all major EAS systems make 9400i purpose-built to help retailers reduce shrink at the POS.

The JavaPOS Device Services are for JavaPOS-based POS Systems (Linux or Windows). Interface support includes Serial, USB-COM and OEM USB. Includes 1.14 Device Controls; improvements to logging, fix for Java crash on device Close, and other bug fixes
For use on all Windows 32 and 64 bit systems. Certified for Windows including XP, Win7, Win8, and Win10 (RS1 thru RS3); auto detects OS version and installs the appropriate driver. Automatically recognizes and associates with Datalogic Scanning USB-COM equipped products. Enables data coming from the USB port to be seen by the host as if it is coming from a standard COM port (using a host defined virtual COM port). Any existing software application supporting serial communications can utilize USB scanner connectivity simply by redirecting the data input to the defined virtual COM port. Improved installation with no need for Admin privileges. "USB composite" scanner interface is not supported on Windows XP Operating system.
