  • Produce Recognition: Accurately identifies non-barcoded items to boost checkout productivity and protect margins by preventing incorrect item selection.

  • Mis-scan: Detects behavioral patterns that indicate products are being moved across the platter area without scanning.

  • Label Switching: Identifies barcode manipulation or overlapping items that may cause price discrepancies or missed scans.

  • Multiple Items: Detects multiple stacked products that could bypass individual barcode reads.

The AI-enabled 9900i variant expands capabilities with Edge-based intelligence for advanced shrink detection.

  • Two integrated high-resolution color cameras, one embedded in the platter and one in the Top-Down Reader (TDR), capture and stream images for advanced product detection through visual checks.

  • Power over Ethernet (PoE) switch enables seamless and easy connectivity for up to five cameras or accessories, supporting advanced AI capabilities.

  • A comprehensive SDK (Software Development Kit) empowers third-party developers to create tailored applications and integrations.

  • A built-in Tensor Processing Unit (TPU) and high-performance neural processor enable AI-based applications at the Edge.

  • An API set allows the straightforward integration of Loss Prevention services into POS/SCO solutions.
