The Gryphon 4500 imager comes with a megapixel sensor which provides ultimate reading performance on any code types, all with a greater Depth of Field and Field of View. As it’s a premium scanner, it can capture images with high quality and clarity to suit all your needs. The warm white illumination is not only easier on human eyes but helps to better read a greater range of barcodes on colored labels. This is especially useful when combined with optional high-density optics to enable the reading codes from LCD monitors, cell phones, smartphones and other mobile devices.
You can further simplify the operator’ activities by making use of the adjustable multi-position cradle. This provides the flexibility of using the imager in presentation mode to read the codes without the need to pick it up, all while it’s charging.
The Gryphon 4500 imager comes with a unique 4-dot aiming pattern with a center cross. This clearly defines the reading zone of your scanner and guarantees a perfect aim with every scan. You can never be too cautious nowadays, and continually having to clean equipment can be very time consuming. As with many products designed for use in the healthcare industry, all the versions of the Gryphon 4500 are made from special materials resistant to harsh chemical cleaning. To provide further protection to the operator, the imagers are treated to inhibit bacterial growth on the surface of the device are available both in white and black colors. Furthermore, the Gryphon 4500 imager is available in a wireless version that can be inductively charged. With no physical contacts present on the body of the device and on its base station, it can be wiped easily and quickly between shifts. This also extend the life of both devices as no preventative maintenance is required in keeping the charging contacts clean.
