On January 22nd the Datalogic site in Vietnam has celebrated the 10th year anniversary. More than 1,000 people attended the event, a mixture of employees, partners, suppliers, dignitaries and guests.
It was an opportunity to retrace the exciting stages of the development project of the plant, starting from the opening with only 4 employees in January 2009, to then becoming the first production site of the Group with about 55% of the total production and more than 800 people employed.
On the same day the new canteen grand opening ceremony took place. A completely new building with 3 floors, a recreational area and an in-house kitchen allowing our people and guests to enjoy a healthy lunch and dinner with variety of choices in a nice environment.
The 2019 APAC Sales Kick-Off also took place in Ho Chi Minh City in the following two days. APAC Region is key for Datalogic both for our factory in Vietnam and for the great business growth potential we have in the area.
