OVERVIEW 

Because of the current pandemic with the COVID-19 virus, Datalogic has been approached regarding the cleaning of its' scanners and mobile devices. The following Bulletin will provide the necessary instructions on how to safely accomplish this task without harming the scanning devices.

DISINFECTING

To disinfect scanner/device surfaces, Datalogic recommends using one of the two following solutions:

• Isopropyl Alchohol (70% solution at a minimum)
• Household Bleach (5-6% sodium hypochlorite) ½ cup bleach diluted in 1 gallon of water Both options are recommended by the CDC as effective disinfecting solutions.
